The YC6MJ engine is a medium- and heavy-duty diesel engine with a displacement of 10L. It is designed and developed in strict accordance with FEV's mechanical development programs, referencing advanced diesel engine concepts from AVL, Ricardo, and other international professional organizations.
2. Wide application
The 6MJ engine platform has been applied to the development of vehicle engines, engines for engineering machinery, G-drive engines, and marine engines. After years of testing, development, and application, the engine has quite mature and perfect systems and has undergone rigorous and extensive reliability tests and verifications.
3. Reliability and Durability
High-strength water-cooled cylinder block, and integral four-valve cylinder head
Reliability development in strict accordance with FEV's mechanical development programs; passed the road adaptability test of about 3 million km (including high-temperature test, alpine-cold test and plateau test) and the rigorous reliability bench test of about 30,000 hours
Use of BOCSH high pressure common rail system, Kamax bolts, Federal-Mogul cylinder gaskets, ZYNP cylinder liners, and parts of other professional suppliers
4. High Efficiency and Economy
Application of a four-valve structure and Yuchai's patented combustion technology, achieving a minimum fuel consumption of 190 g/kW·h.
Supports a high-efficiency turbocharger, with fine calibration based on market segments and applications, offering improved economy and power performance.
Intelligent Fuel-Saving Switch: The position switch is adjusted according to real-time load, allowing the vehicle to operate within its economical range at all times, thereby reducing fuel consumption by at least 10%.
Power coverage: 300 ps ~ 420 ps; torque coverage: 1,500 N·m ~ 2,000 N·m; high gradeability under heavy load condition
5. Safety and Comfort
Maximum speed control, limp home, torque output control, fault indicator lamps, low oil pressure protection, and thermal protection and control
Application of pilot injection control, intelligent idle speed control, and other electronic control technologies, effectively reducing engine vibration and noise.
Application of the special in-cylinder brake system with a low braking speed, jointly developed by Yuchai and JACOBS, achieving higher braking efficiency than similar products.
